Hillary for President and Obama as Running Mate

Postby ourvote on Sun Dec 02, 2007 11:23 pm

Would Hillary Clinton campaign with Barack Obama for the US 2008 Election? Hillar/Obama for President/Vice President. This would be an impactful 2008 election ticket.

I would love to see Ron Paul as President and Tancredo as the VP. People would get freedoms.... and idea this country was founded on... Imagine that. This is our chance guys, to take back what was stolen from us by big government/corperations.

I think it would depend on how the rest of primary goes, but I could see Hilary choosing Barak as her running mate. That way they could seize on all the momentum from both candidates and most likely use that leverage to beat the republican side. Just as whoever the front runner is would perhaps pick the second in charge as his VP. Although McCain/Huckabee is a scary thought.

I simply want to make my own educated prediction: Clinton will be the Democratic nominee, with Bill Richardson for VP (he's Hispanic and is from the southwest, and also served in Bill's cabinet -- i.e., already a Clintonista). Obama is simply too charismatic to stand in her shadow; he is now prepped to be her successor, or Secretary of State, perhaps, but not her running mate.
Although it hardly matters, the Republican nominees will be McCain for president, with Fred Thompson as VP running mate. Romney, likewise, can't stand in McCain's shadow, and they seem to truly dislike one another. Huckabee is cursed by his name, and is too hard to categorize. Thompson is, well, a really nice guy and hard to dislike.
Due to the abilities and wonders of the far-reaching Clinton Machine, our next president, for better or worse, will be Hillary Clinton, and she will appoint PA governor Ed Rendell as Attorney General, and hubby Bill to the Supreme Court, despite his being disbarred in Arkansas (details, details...).
Now, venturing farther out on my limb, Rick Santorum will run against Catherine Baker Knoll for PA governor in 2010 and will win it hands down, as well as garner reelection in 2014. He will be the Republican nominee for president in 2016, after we've grown very tired of 8 years of Hillary Chavez... er, Clinton. He will be succeeded as PA gov by former gov Mark Schweiker. All of these latter predictions are, of course, dependent on whether or not there will still be a US of A that needs a president. So, it'll be Santorum vs Obama in 2016... Now, as for 2012, I have no clue as to which poor sod will be thrown against Hill and pummeled; perhaps Romney will get his shot then.
My words are, as they say, marked this day, February 1, 2008 AD.

I doubt that McCain will pick Thompson. In fact, rumor has it that he might go with Lieberman, although I'm not sure how that would work considering that Lieberman is independant and registered democrat. There was a lot of rumor about it though. While that may not be true, to me, it's looking like he's gravitating toward Guiliani. They seem to be inseparable since Rudy quit. And the mayor certainly is the kind that would gladly take such a position in the government.

As far as Barack, I don't know if Obama is quite ready to consider such a deal at this point. He said that he's not running for VP, only president. Of course when all is said and done, that could change.

I would like to see John Edwards as her running mate and Rendell as Attorney General. Bill Richardson had too many negative things to say. He was ready to throw in the towel for Hillary and was leaning towards Obama
