John Edwards is an advocate for the people in every fiber of his being. He is simply the only candidate who has articulated a mission to end crony corporate lobbyist abuses and undue influence. His is a progressive people's agenda that will strengthen the middle class, eradicate poverty, put teeth in the effort to achieve universal health care coverage, will reduce global warming and build new energy jobs, get all combat troops out of Iraq and return moral leadership in world affairs.

I have been a supporter of John Edwards even before he announced his candidacy back in December. The reason why is because he has solutions to ALL of the difficult problems and issues that are going to be facing him once elected. Unlike Hillary and Barack, he is a leader, takes charge, and is not afraid to take a stand on these issues.

”It’s time we honored work in this country, not just wealth.” John Edwards has the most specific proposals of any candidate to restore tax fairness, to enhance competitiveness and job growth, and to re-negotiate free trade agreements so they are once again fair trade agreements.

John Edwards is informed by the fact that 300,000 taxpayers make half of the nation’s income, while 150 million make the other half, which represents the greatest income inequality in this country since 1928. This reality has been exacerbated by the combination of unfair tax practices, the ill effects of unfair globalization, and trade policies that mostly enrich multinational corporations and certainly not workers. Regarding “fair trade,” John Edwards is for strong labor and environmental standards and against illegal subsidies and currency manipulation. He is also for rigorous enforcement of trade agreements, not just negotiation. In the breadth and detail of his economic proposals, John Edwards differs substantially from the other candidates. Only John Edwards has called for raising the minimum wage to $9.50 and creating a new test for trade: Will new deals benefit working families, not just multinational corporations? Thank you.

The only thing John Edwards has a clear vision is of my wallet, and not-so-clear visions of how he'd like to spend the money he would steal from it.

Redistribution of wealth is theft, unless those having their wealth shared gave it voluntarily. No amount of pontificating and fuzzy-headedness can make an innately immoral act (theft) moral.

When I was growing up, taking something by force that didn't belong to you from someone who didn't want to give it up was called armed robbery. Now we just call it taxes, and scoff at anyone who thinks the government doesn't have a divine right to the fruits of their labors. Either way, it is odious, and your coiffed-haired sissy boy is a practitioner of the offense.

Lord, I long for the day when the people grow tired of being treated as slaves to the state, and converge on the palace - pitchfork in hand. Then we round up all the John Edwards clones in our nation - and after burning all of their personal possessions while they watch - build a grand prison where they can pay for their crimes against the human spirit.

Go John Edwards 2008; him and John Mellencamp for vp. Thank You for this forum and chance to participate. Edwards is a good choice because he Can Win and is connected to "grass-roots" movements at appropriate levels and opportunities. He has been a most devoted participant in the "Iowa Caucuses" process, a valued indicator of potential support, Nationwide. I hope JE will help my candidacy for US Congress from Missouri. Thanks. :)

If you truly care about the future of the United States of America, you will vote for Ron Paul.
Bring back the Constitution, restore freedoms and liberties, and help shape the United States (the right way). Ron Paul is the only honest "politician" left. He understands the system and knows how to change it.
 Let us make a real difference!!
